  • Four Months Course in Yogic Studies from Bihar School of Yoga, Munger, India. 2003.

Work Experience 

  • Ananda in the Himalayas, Rishikesh,India – Consultant Head, Yoga Department Rishikesh, Uttarakhand  03/2006 – 12/2006
  • At Ananda in the Himalayas as a consultant head and helped to shape a team of six Yoga Teachers.
  • My work included crafting class content for the guests according to their personal needs and body type.
  • As a team, we did everything to explore the healing aspect of Yogic practices for the guests. I put my efforts to help them making gentle entry into the discipline.
  • I also structured the class content for general group as well as  individual classes.

Whenever possible I personally conducted group meditation classes where I used Yoga Nidra and Ajapa Japa (Breath Meditation) as important practices


Workshops, Courses and Lectures

Taught yoga to Iranian Women at Iran Culture House, Tilak Marg, New Delhi.2004.

Conducted a week end yoga course for three days for Dutch tourists at Hotel Rajputana Sheraton, Jaipur, and Rajasthan, India in 2004.

Organized and conducted a seven day yoga retreat for children between age group of 8 and 16 at Dhvanyaloka, Mysore, Karnataka, India .June 2005.

Featured in an article “How the East Was Won” in magazine In India Today dated November 14, 2005.

  • Featured in an article by Anjana Rajan “Yoga for Everyday” in national daily, The Hindu in May 2005.
  • Worked as Head Yoga Teacher for Ananda in the Himalayas, a renowned destination spa. Trained a team of five yoga teachers in a range of yogic techniques and traditions in order to make them competent to teach the International guests at Ananda who come from all over the world. Year 2006-2007.
  • Featured in an article “Between Freedom and Routine” by G.S. Rajan in national daily The Statesman on May 18, 2007.
  • Organized and conducted a five day yoga retreat for children (between 8 and 16) at The Cottage, near Nainital, Himachal Pradesh, India .June 2007.
  • Organized and conducted a four day yoga retreat for children at Dayanand Ashram, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, India. June 2008.
  • Served as a yoga teacher for Aegon Religare Group and engaged them in daily yoga practices for ten days at Samodhe Bagh, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. October 2008. Conducted a four day Yoga retreat called “Svasthaya” at Hotel Greenworld in Ansbach, Germany for the employees of GEKA-World. May 2010.
  • A two part article “Bow to the Sun” was published in The Hindu on February 13, 2010 and February 20, 2010.
  • Featured in five episodes of a Yoga Show on television channel, NDTV Good Times, as a yoga expert and practitioner.
  • Travel Scope, a travel company with International clientele regularly sends their guests indivduals as well as groups to me and I have created a three hour comprehensive program of asana, pranayama and meditation for these guests. This program has become very popular and almost all the guests coming from Europe and America through Travelscope opt for it and like it.
  • Delivered a lecture on Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra at Vedicher Institut, Potsdam, Germany on 27th, 2012. Delivered a lecture on Yogic Philosophy and taught Yoga and Meditation at Dominique Cloister, Prenzlau, Germany on 28th February, 2012.
  • Was invited by Jung Foundation, Chicago as visiting faculty to give lectures on Yogic Philosophy and also to teach Yoga and meditation to their group visiting India in February 2013.
  • Taught Yoga to large groups of tourists from Europe at Lodhi Gardens, New Delhi in March 2013. Engaged by Incent Tours , a sister company of Travelscope. Was Invited by Sahitya Akademi to do a workshop on Yoga on 21st June, 2015.
  • Was invited by Sangeet Natak Akademi to do a 6-day workshop on Yoga on the occasion of “Yog- Parv” 2015 organized by the Akademi.
  • Was invited by Sahiya Akedemi to deliver a lec-dem on Yoga on 21st June, 2016.
  • Was invited by Sangeet Natak Akademi to do a 2-day yoga workshop on 22nd and 23rd June, 2016 on the occasion of second “Yog-Parv” organized by the Akademi.
  • Was invited by Gandhi Bhavan, University of Delhi to give a lecture on Yoga Sutras on 20th June, 2016.
  • Was Invited by IGNCA to hold a workshop for public on Yoga on International Yoga Day, 21 June, 2016.
  • Gave a lecture on “Prevention of Ailments through Yoga” at Curtain Raiser (Yoga Day) on 14th June, 2017 at Indian Embassy, Berlin, Germany organised by The Tagore Centre (Culture Wing). 
  • Delievered an online lecture on ‘Relevance of Yoga in the wake of Covid-19’ at Office of the Games and Sports,Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi-110025 on November 17,2020.
  • Delivered a video lecture for India International Centre for the Yoga Week, 2021.
  • Conducted a five-day Yoga Outreach Programme for Health, Happiness and Harmony at Indian International Centre, New Delhi from June 6th -10th from 6 AM to 8 AM.
  • Conducted a five-day Yoga Outreach Programme for Health, Happiness and Harmony at IGNCA (Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts), New Delhi from June 6th-10th from 3:30pm to 5:30pm.
